Prayer and Preparation
As we come to the end of one year and transition into 2024, spend a few minutes recalling the ways in which the Lord has been at work and pray for faith to step further into Christlikeness in the coming year. Then spend a few minutes asking the Lord to bless your study this week as you contemplate Genesis 15.

Read Genesis 15 and summarize what took place and how it relates to the story that’s already been told. Use this time to refresh your memory on what we’ve already studied in Genesis thus far.

What stands out, raises questions, or sparks curiosity for you in this chapter?

What is the significance of the events described in verses 12-17? How do they speak of the gospel and point to Christ?

Application
List areas of your life or spiritual journey where you have questioned God and sought an explanation from Him? How did that go? Did you find answers or get closure?
