Galatians 1:11-24

Prayer and Preparation
Before diving into this week’s study spend a few minutes in prayer, asking the Lord to enlighten your mind and illuminate the text. Ask Him for the Holy Spirit’s help as you try to apply what you learn.

Study

In Galatians 1:11-12 Paul describes “his gospel”. Summarize the claim he makes in these verses about where and how he came to understand the Good News of Jesus.

In Galatians 1:13-24 Paul shares his story of conversion and life as a missionary and follower of Christ. Give a brief outline of the testimony he shares.

Application
While we may not share the same jarring conversion experience with Paul, we do share the same elements of a testimony with him: life before Christ (vv. 14-15), how we met Christ (v. 16) and what life has been like since we started believing. (vv. 16-14).
